An opportunity exists to make an impact within our Innovation group. Specifically, we are looking for a Senior .NET Application Developer to become an integral part of our Development Services division.

We are seeking a talented senior programmer with strong C#, relational database and OO programming skills. You will perform object oriented development and ongoing enhancement as a member of the development team; you will be involved in building and enhancing a large financial application in production. The application involves a variety of technologies built on the Microsoft platform. You must be a self-starter and be able to work autonomously and take initiative.

Required Skills

6+ years of C# using all versions of the .NET Framework
Experience using Visual Studio 2005 / 2008 including WinForm and/or WebForms.
Deep understanding of how to work effectively with the .Net framework
Strong OOD/OOP experience
2+ years of database application development
GUI development experience
Experience with XBRL is an asset and nice to have skills
Experience writing applications that interact with Microsoft Office, (especially with Word and Excel) on different versions of Microsoft .Net Framework (3.5) is a strong plus
Experience with components such as LINQ, Aspose, DevExpress and Infragistics is a strong plus
Experience with Visual Studio 2008, is preferred
Accounting experience and knowledge is a strong plus
Oracle experience is a strong plus
Experience with WPF/WCF/SOA
Experience with ADO.NET Entity Framework is definitely a plus
Familiarity with OLAP databases such as Essbase and Microsoft Analysis Services

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Superior organizational, problem solving, and time management abilities
Passionate about providing solutions to challenging technical problems
Experience and interest in being a mentor or lead.
