Cita memorie fizica? Ce dimensiuni pagefile?
Cum compari 32/64? WoW64 sau OS 32 nativ? Daca ai OS 32, boot-eaza cu /3GB sau nu? AWE on/off?

Potzi face post la cite un perflog pentru fiecare test (32, 64) pentru SQLServe:Buffer Manager, SQLServer:Memory Manager, SQLServer:Wait Statistics, SQLServer:Databases, SQLServer:Latches, SQLServer:Locks. La toate selecteaza All Counters/All instances.

    Numai de bine,
    ~Remus

Un articol pe aceeasi tema: SQL Server becomes sluggish or appears to stall on 64 bit installations

Re: Performante slabe SQL pe platforma 64

Referitor la configuratia RAID citez din Storage Top 10 Best Practices:

Always place log files on RAID 1+0 (or RAID 1) disks. This provides:

better protection from hardware failure, and

    better write performance.

Note: In general RAID 1+0 will provide better throughput for write-intensive applications. The amount of performance gained will vary based on the HW vendor’s RAID implementations. Most common alternative to RAID 1+0 is RAID 5. Generally, RAID 1+0 provides better write performance than any other RAID level providing data protection, including RAID 5.
