    Upgrade-ul de la SQL Server 2008 la SQL Server 2008 R2 este posibil.Folositi Upgrade Advisor - il gasiti pe distributia SQL Server 2008 R2 in folder-ul path\redist\upgrade advisor (unde path poate fi de exemplu pentru versiunea trial pe 32 de biti \1033_enu_lp\x86 ).
