Using Microsoft Virtualization Technologies Today and Tomorrow

"Virtual Machine technology is seeing rapid adoption across the IT lifecycle, changing how IT is done. As the use of virtualization in production data centers accelerates, it is important to understand the impact it will have. How will the technology evolve? How do you manage a mixed physical/virtual infrastructure? What are the licensing implications of adding/removing virtual machines weekly, daily or even hourly? This event gives you an opportunity to hear answers to these questions and more. The event will cover where the technology is headed in the next twelve to eighteen months, how Virtualization fit into Windows Server codename Longhorn, what technologies and products Microsoft will release to simplify the management of a hybrid virtual/physical infrastructure, plus examples about how to deploy/migrate to and manage virtual environments.
