http://sqlserver.ro/blogs/cristians_blog/archive/2007/12/15/the-story-of-an-event-2007-12-15.aspx
http://sqlserver.ro/blogs/cristians_blog/archive/2007/12/21/summary-2007.aspx

2. Nou in domeniul SQL Server

In domeniul SQL Server vrem sa va sugeram urmatoarele resurse:
RML Utilities for SQL Server (x86) – http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=7EDFA95A-A32F-440F-A3A8-5160C8DBE926&displaylang=en
RML Utilities for SQL Server (x64) – http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=B60CDFA3-732E-4347-9C06-2D1F1F84C342&displaylang=en
SQL Server 2008 - Test Drive - http://www.microsoft.com/heroeshappenhere/TestDrive/sql-server-2008/default.mspx

3. Culminis - The Voice survey

Am adaugat in pagina de inregistare un control CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) pentru a opri inregistrarile automate.

English Version

In this issue:
1. At the end of the year
2. What's new for SQL Server
3. Culminis - The Voice survey
4. Stop Spam

1. At the end of the year

At the end of the year we want to thank you for helping us, to wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
If you didn't make it to the last meeting of the group you can see pictures from the event and the postcard for you by following this link:
http://sqlserver.ro/blogs/cristians_blog/archive/2007/12/15/the-story-of-an-event-2007-12-15.aspx
You can also read a summary for 2007:
http://sqlserver.ro/blogs/cristians_blog/archive/2007/12/21/summary-2007.aspx

2. What's new for SQL Server

There are plenty of new resources for SQL Server but we want to suggest you just two:
RML Utilities for SQL Server (x86) – http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=7EDFA95A-A32F-440F-A3A8-5160C8DBE926&displaylang=en
RML Utilities for SQL Server (x64) – http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=B60CDFA3-732E-4347-9C06-2D1F1F84C342&displaylang=en
SQL Server 2008 - Test Drive - http://www.microsoft.com/heroeshappenhere/TestDrive/sql-server-2008/default.mspx

3. Culminis - The Voice survey

We remind you that ROSQL is affiliated to Culminis. One of the benefits of Culminis is The Voice magazine (http://thevoice.culminis.com/default.aspx).
To improve it Culminis kindly asks you to fill out the next short survey: http://survey.culminis.com/takeSurvey.asp?surveyID=62 (It won’t take more than one minute).
Thank you. The survey is available until January 3rd, 2008 at 8:00 PM Eastern time.

4. STOP SPAM

At the beginning of December we had 1500. There are 1100 members now.
That's because we did a little house-cleaning.
If you had to re-create your account we apologize.
We added in the registration page a CAPTCHA control (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) to stop automatic registrations.
At the end of January 2008 we will clean our database again.
To makes things easier for us, please login to the site once.
One criteria used for cleaning the database is comparing the registration date with the last visit date.
Thank you!
