Job description:The IT Department of Ubisoft, is currently seeking a full-time BI senior Developer specialized in designing and developing Data Warehouse solutions. The candidate should be familiar with the Microsoft BI Stack.
Key responsibilities:- DW schema/models/objects/systems design, implementation and optimization
- ETL framework design, implementation and management.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend tuning optimizations
- Participate in architectural and model decisions during the design and build phases of new projects.
- Work closely with application developers and administrators to streamline data flows between internal/external systems and the data warehouse.
- Good understanding of user requirements and functional specifications.
- Ensure that formal documentation is produced for all development projects.
Experience:Mandatory: - University diploma in Information Technology or Computer Sciences or equivalent work experience on BI.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on implementing ETL for Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions.
- Good understanding of general data warehousing concepts.
- Full lifecycle experience surrounding large scale DW/BI solutions having Microsoft SQL Server as backend.
- Developing ETL processes with Data from various sources: SQL Server, Oracle, Online content etc.
- Strong expertise with SQL Server programming objects such as Stored Procedures, Views and Function.
- Good communications skills in English (spoken and written).
Nice to have:- Experience on Business Analysis and/or Project Management.
- Experience with SAP Business Objects.
- Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server 2012 is a plus.
- MDM (Master Data Management) knowledge is a plus.
- Good communications skills in French (spoken and written).
