Job description: The IT Department of Ubisoft, is currently seeking a
full-time Informatica Developer with a strong Data Warehouse background. Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing ETL solution to
support business requirements by using Informatica.
- The ideal candidate would be knowledgeable on the
following tasks:
- Create
ETL flows that respect the standards and best practices, with multiple data
source and targets types (RDBMS, flat files, …)
- Realize
complex transformations by choosing the most adapted one among all the
possibilities offered by Informatica
- Optimize
the flows by taking advantage of both Database Engine and Informatica
capabilities
- Have
a good understanding of Informatica architecture and tune the configuration to
reach a high level of performance while managing the concurrency
- Build
and maintain the monitoring features to raise any data quality alerts
- Participate in architectural and model decisions
during the design and build phases of new projects.
- Work closely with application developers and
administrators to streamline data flows between internal/external systems and
the data warehouse.
- Good understanding of user requirements and
functional specifications.
- Ensure that formal documentation is produced for
all development projects.
- Performance tuning, monitoring and
troubleshooting.
Experience:
Mandatory:
- University diploma in Information Technology or
Computer Sciences or equivalent work experience on BI.
- More than 5 years of experience on BI
developments.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Informatica.
- Knowledgeable in Informatica architecture,
design and development.
- Experience building both traditional ETL
scenarios in Informatica as well as non-traditional integration scenarios.
- Working knowledge of one or more BI suite
(Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, ProClarity etc.).
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts;
knowledgeable of data warehouse design, automation and implementation at an
Enterprise level.
- Experience working with VLDBs (Very Large Databases)
is a plus.
- Good communications skills in English (spoken
and written).
Nice to have:
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience on Business Analysis and/or Project
Management.
- Good communications skills in French (spoken and
written).
