Mda... poate din cauza ca, daca nu are SP2, nu detecteaza cluster-ul de 2008. In definitiv, nu poti fi before-compatible.
Ai incercat sa pui sp2 ?

Am incercat sa instalez o instanta stand alone, sa pun sp2 si apoi sa instalez clusterul. Fara succes. Si nu sunt before-compatible ... sunt "after-compatible" pentru ca W2008 a aparut de cateva luni .

Scuze ...am gresit - intr-adevar "after"
Acuma, dupa ce am mai cautat pe Google, cred ca problema vine de la configuratia ta.

Windows Server 2008 Failover Cluster. The Server 2008 cluster setup
went smoothly and I set up a cluster service for the SQL disks. The
installation options for a SQL cluster are all accepted and everything
looks good till I get to the actual installation.
